Quran Radio began transmitting on February 15, 2012. Sharjah Quran Radio enjoys a huge listener base due to its mission to serve the holy book of Allah and its dedication to helping Muslims memorise, understand and apply its teachings. The station, which transmits a series of diverse religious programmes around the clock, aims to provide media content that is derived from the Islamic Sharia under the supervision of experts in the Holy Quran and a select group of media professionals.
